Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions

Specifically the time taken to drill a borehole depends on the depth that has to be drilled. For instance it takes 3 hours to drill a 100 meters borehole

There is no set answer for how deep a borehole needs to be. Put simply the borehole should be as deep as is required to reach the aquifer (water bearing rock). The average depth of a borehole is between 60m and 80m but this can be less as well as significantly

The flushing helps remove any blockage due to silt or stone coming in the way of extracting of water. While this is as per rules, there are no rules to govern redrilling.

Borehole stability problems can result from damaged casing and screens, borehole wall collapse, corrosion or excessive water velocities into the well. High water velocity can cause formation particles, like sand, to flow into the well, causing eventual collapse of the borehole wall.

Generally, water from boreholes is already of high quality because it has been filtered through many layers of chalk or sand, so it only needs disinfection with chlorine. On the whole borehole water is safe to drink; however, it could possibly contain dissolved minerals or contamination To make it more efficient we even certify the water by conducting lab tests

The company provides the facility of geological survey which includes the charges while the client can negotiate it by excluding if has any traditional markers.

Landowners have a right to access any water beneath their ground. This doesn’t means that there is no need to acquire any planning permission to drill a water borehole, thus the client need to acquire the permission before setting up the rig in the site. We get the permissions behalf of the clients.

The answer for this depends on the geological survivor they are opting for, if the survivor is from the companies team then the company is responsible for any of the results.

We support the client and provide the service for 1 week from the date of drilling a borehole without any charges

Probably not. If needs be, smaller drilling rigs can be dismantled to pass through a standard doorway. This can be determined during a site visit, don't worry.

The answer for the question would be probably difficult for many of the companies in the market, while Ocean drilling has come up with advanced drill tech method. Due to which we accept the client’s approach and provide service as requested irrespective to their location or soil condition.
